- Steven Perrin Review added: 2018.11.29★ ★ ★ ★ ★Stopped for Sunday roast at beautiful pub after visiting Oxburgh Hall. Lovely log fire crackling away when we entered. The roasts were amazing and the staff took great care of us. Booking recommended on sundays. We hadn't but they accommodated us on the patio and kept us warm with heated lamps. Lovely gardens for children to run around in. The manager kindly gave our son some bubbles and balloons to play with. Great place to stop after visiting the hall across the road.

Upon complaint, we were offered a complimentary voucher, which we declined because we did not want to return. Who would want to?
Moreover, a dog entered our eating room/area, out of control.
...lasting impression: Lackadaisical, devil-may-care attitude, even though waiter apologised. However, my partner, having been in the business, said that he should have spoken with the kitchen.
Finally: The (first) was for drinks only; the final bill included food. What amateur is (mis)managing this establishment?
